I had a real mess going on in the lady cave- my necklaces were taking over my desk space to the point of overcrowding. Searching high and low I couldn’t find a hanger I was exactly happy with so I decided to try out the DIY route.
So I secretly enlisted G2’s help (secretly because he had no idea that after the trip to Home Depot, he would have to go into Micheals for the first time in his life). After the initial reaction of horror left his face he became distracted with picking out frames and a glue gun. Turns out I had ignited a crafting bug in him because when we came home, he dug in and helped with this creation. I initially was going to cover the cork with fabric but decided against it as this gives me the option to rearrange the hanger positions without leaving any unsightly holes in the fabric. Thumbs up to G2 on this one, now I feel my accessory corner is organized and pretty!
That’s real cute, and a much prettier way to display jewelry. I am glad G2 is no longer a Michaels virgin.
