Fall Back Home

I don’t get to visit my parents that often, usually a couple of times a year during holidays. They live in a beautiful corner of the world, otherwise known as NW British Columbia. Below the snow-capped coastal peaks are beautiful valleys with some of the greatest fly fishing known to man. This time of year, Steelhead fishing is the predominant game and one that we truly enjoy. G2 equates fly fishing steelhead to sheep hunting. With so few days to visit, I decided to stay back around the house. The beautiful fall day enticed me into a photo shoot with my new Woolrich Outback Hat, some bright plaid and warm, large textured knits to cut the chill. I love the versatility of the hat that I can wear fishing or with my new fall Everly Maxi on weekends (Photos to follow). My parents place provided a beautiful backdrop and shows the comfort of coming home.

I’ve only been steelhead fishing a couple of times, but I’m with G2 on how exciting it is to be fighting one of those on the other end of the line!! That said, very beautiful photo shoot and I’m in love with that big chunky knit. You look gorgeous as yooozh 🙂

You are too kind as yooozh :)! I think they are beautiful fish, and just love being in the same country as them, it’s gorgeous there!

Thanks! I think it was meant to be used as a scarf but I squeezed it on my shoulders LOL. I have been looking up how to make them, god save me becasue I have not the foggiest clue on how to knit!
