TGIF Strangers! I’ve been away from the blogosphere buried under a mountain of work, but was inspired to post my current favourite things when I heard a chickadee calling this morning. Something about hearing that familiar little call of spring broke me out of my winter doldrums. And the fantastic news is we are supposed to climb into the double digits here this weekend, spring thaw is here!!!
I’m loving reclaimed chairs with tribal or Ikat fabrics right now. I found a place called the Painted Porch that does a fantastic job of reclaiming old furniture with a shabby chic vibe. I have a chair for the office that I’m is going to get dropped off with my inspiration. Image from here.

My current weekend style- you’ll find me cruising around in my retro New Balance camo runners, the fuchsia laces are a fantastic touch!
Flannel sheets- I love you but I’m so over you right now! I’m ready for some eye popping colours. Mixing up the linens with a floral cover or throws to brighten up the place. Image Hudson Bay Company.
Although it may be too early for the garden to bloom, try some arrangements on your own. I love this idea from Cupcakes and Cashmere of mixing petite flowers with herbs, such as this dusty rose and sage for a dainty floral arrangement.
Can you please just come decorate my house, and revamp my wardrobe!
