I feel mother nature’s holding back on us this year in terms of the number of warm sunshine filled days we’ve seen so far this summer. I bought these tiered lacy shorts back in March with high hopes they’d get lots of use in July and August, so when opportunity presents itself we’re out together chasing some rays. And with those white shorts I just layer on the colour, it’s like my outfit is literally doing the “sun” dance as the optimism meter is on high that the dog days of summer are yet to come.

I love the colour and find it’s the perfect weekend barn bag! Big enough to fit an extra change of shorts and flip flops so I’m not jiggling through the grocery store after I’m done my ride 🙂
