I Gotta Keep On Moving…

I’ve realized there are too few Health & Fitness posts on the blog and while I “think” my outdoor pursuits are keeping me relatively fit it’s time to step it up a notch. To me it’s not about being “skinny” or reaching a certain size, it’s that internal feeling you get when you feel strong, healthy and energized 🙂 My goals are these; I have a bum knee that needs strengthening for the ski hill and hiking, also if I want to get some surfing in this spring I need some arm strength so I’m not fatigued after a couple waves. Toning and trimming up will come with the work I’m hoping.

Even though we are still fresh in 2012, it’s easy to get busy or just want to plain avoid the crowds at the gym. So that’s why I wanted to share some easy to do exercises and promote the motivation I’ve been finding through Pinterest that you can complete in the living room at home.

I feel the same way, I’m a pretty healthy person in general but when I eat junk I feel like junk. Although junk is allowed sometimes. I’m trying to find a balance in my eating & feeling good plan… Pinterest tears me apart sometimes… food picture vs. fitness picture

Pinterest is great for guilt and motivation at the same time. I’m hoping to use my guilty pleasure for good!
