Spring is starting to show itself after a long six months and I have already started to change out my closet, pulling some of the spring and summer goodies from their winter storage.
Every season I look at what’s in my closet or what’s out new in stores and determine a few “anchor” items to set the tone for my wardrobe for the next few months. I always want to build off what is already in my closet to maximize use, while still adding a few pieces that freshen things up or add some fun factor. On my “must have” list this spring are Denim Dresses perfect for transitioning from winter boots to spring sandals. Drapey or trench coat inspired vests to add a twist to my office wardrobe. I also find them versatile in the fact you can dress them up or down with a pair of jeans and sneakers. Fringe Booties or Sandals are still staying in my closet this season, they are playful and add a bit of drama to any outfit. And last but not least, 70’s inspired dresses- think florals and flutter sleeves.
