NFR Fashion- Fringe Jumpsuit

Every year as soon as October arrives, I’m excited to see the latest in NFR Fashion inspiration from some of my favourite boutiques and western bloggers. And each year the outfits seem to get bigger and bolder which looks so fun in photos, but then I start wondering about the actual reality of wear these items to the NFR rodeo or just being out and about for the night in Vegas.

With Vegas being such a walking destination, the reality is even the most seasoned high heel veteran is going barefoot through the lobby at the end of the night or ending up with blisters if you set out in stilettos. Also, it can get pretty darn chilly at night being in the desert in December, so those miniskirts and teeny dresses while walking around or waiting a million hours for an uber, can we say Frozen??

A while back I attended a charity event in Calgary called, Boobyball. In support of rethinking breast cancer and providing support services to women under the age of 40 who have or are currently dealing with cancer treatment and diagnosis, the event was a Wild West theme. After wracking my brain on what would qualify as saloon style, yet still look great for a night out, my friend Amy found this fringe- jumpsuit number online at Pretty Little Thing. The descriptor of the suit, “perfect for a night out of dancing”, couldn’t ring more true. The way the fringe moves, you want to keep dancing, walking or moving the whole time you’re in it. And in terms of comfort level? It’s like wearing sweats- literally.  I think paired with a cute moto jacket or western inspired wrap (that still shows off the fringe), this outfit or a jumpsuit similar should be on the packing list for Vegas if you’re headed to NFR. And if not, it would make a great NYE outfit and it’s classic enough you can store it in the closet for next Stampede as well! NFR Fashion- Fringe JumpsuitNFR Fashion- Fringe Jumpsuit
