Rosemary Cranberry Fizz

Rosemary Cranberry Fizz

After countless hours of pinning and looking at new recipes, I’ve made a decision about the holidays this year. Yep, we’re going back to the classics. All the drinks, appetizers, desserts and dishes that we had when I was growing up, I want to recreate them versus subjecting everyone to the latest and greatest on my Christmas board.

One of the first things up is a classic Christmas cocktail, I love that you can batch make this which saves when you have a large group to serve and you can also make it as a mock-tail for all those too young or perhaps pregnant to participate in the “bubbles”. Traditionally this is made with gin or vodka, but I decided to substitute in a dry Champagne instead.

And probably the thing that took the longest when making the cocktail was finding these vintage Champagne glasses when antique shopping. But I love how pretty this drink looks inside the rose toned glass, perfect for Christmas or New Years!
