DIY Serape Shower Curtain from Horses & Heels

Happy Friday All! About this time of year, once the snow is melted away and before anything green starts to come in, I crave bright vibrant colours to offset the dull brown landscape. I love how the bright look of a serape pattern can refresh a space in the home, or add a fun statement to an outfit. I think the key to making it work either in your decor or attire is to anchor it with neutrals or whites. It’s such a statement in itself you don’t need it competing with other elements in the room or what your wearing.

I also love the idea of hanging the fun beach towels or blankets in a guest room to make people feel like they are getting away on a little retreat, even if it’s to the chilly foothills of the Rocky Mountains! The great part is you can use them later to add some fun to outdoor furniture when you host a Cinco de Mayo party! In which case you’re gonna want to make these Coconut Habanero Margarita’s– they’re killer!

Happy Weekend All!
