Spring Neutrals

Spring Neutrals

Embroidered Top | Distressed Jeans | Tassel Shoes

As much as I’m obsessed with a bright pop of color or bold pattern for a spring or summer wardrobe, I’m also partial to a great neutral palette especially for weekends or casual dressing. Neutrals can be just as exciting especially if they have some detailing that adds a little something, something. I originally bought this embroidered top for work, but it’s quickly falling into my off-duty wardrobe as well.

Oh and these suede Tassel Pumps were a Winners #FabFind.  I swear I go all Hunger Games in that store. I’ll find something and swoop in, elbows out not caring who or what gets out of my way. But lucky me, they followed me home! Lol  And to round it out, my favorite skinny ankle jeans, which are perfect for us shorter girls who don’t want to hem our pants. I know somewhere my dad is cringing, he hates/is completely mystified by the concept of actually purchasing pants with holes in them. Every time I wear them he offers to buy me “actual” jeans sans holes and rips. I think if I keep it up at this rate, my denim closet will be fully stocked by fall 😉

Super cute! love the shoes and I know my dad would be the same with the jeans. I think you can get away with it more so than me – think I might be a bit too old for distressed denim. 😉

I don’t know about that. I think distressed denim can be for any age, it just needs to be paired appropriately 🙂
