Arriving back from vacation so close to Christmas doesn’t leave me with that much time to prep for the holidays. It leaves me with even less time to shop for any items for holiday parties or events. Which is why I stashed this velvet pleated midi skirt for such days when I needed to feel a little festive. Paired with a lace top that I’ve had for years, this outfit feels ready for a night out at the ballet or hosting dinner in.
The velvet makes it feel trendy and luxe, and the nice thing about the length is it can be be mixed with a chunky sweater and tall boots to lend a more casual daytime look.
