Windcheater

I have often said my favourite job would let me wear jeans, sandals and a James Perse shirt of some variation (they are just so comfortable). This would be my utopia- I would still get to dress up on weekends though. There are so many companies doing a weekend/casual line such as J Crew, which gives comfortable yet stylish options for venturing out when you would just rather be in your sweatpants. Don’t get me wrong Lululemon is an excellent product line, I own many  of their pieces but I’m advocating the days are over when we venture out to the grocery store, run to the dry cleaner or sit through another flight in our lulu’s.

I have been adding to my weekend staples. The utility look is everywhere this season just as the nautical image is making a strong presence and I love them both. I got a great Anorak Sweater from Simons, Nautical Striped Tank and Distressed  Boyfriend Jeans from Joe Fresh. I know my boyfriend doesn’t understand the idea behind buying distressed jeans, “with holes in them and paint all over”, but they are marvellous and I know they’ll have a lot of use this year.
