All Tied Up

Any girl who lives in a colder climate will tell you a pair of tall boots can be your best friend. There have been so many wonderful boots come out over the last few seasons the choices seem endless. Today I pay homage to my crush of tall lace up booties. They are fun and funky and can add an extra something to an outfit that a classic equestrian style can’t. I mean you probably wouldn’t wear these to the office, but that’s what the weekend’s are for, trying something new and bringing out your own personal style. Below are a pick of my four favourite lace up boots out there right now.

Ok. This is weird. After commenting on your post this morning, I went to work (teaching high school English) in my favorite knee high black suede boots with buckles and straps and 4 inch heels (they are platforms, though, so they look really high but are super comfy). I was coming around a corner first thing and had to stop short to avoid running over a student and my heel broke!! I had to walk around all day on my tippy toes on my right foot! The shop teacher tried gluing and nailing it, but it didn’t hold! Aaahhh! Now I have to buy new boots because I cannot live without these.

Oh No!! That’s not good at all! I know you can probably get it fixed (are they still called cobblers??), but maybe it’s a sign?! Tall boots are a must have, I don’t know what I’d do without mine!!
