With Black Friday and Cyber Monday looming, I’m starting to hyperventilate about maneuvering the mall parking lot and crowds of stampeding people. The move to a rural address (PO Box what??) has been a bit tricky and thrown a wrench in my online shopping game so I was happy to come across some local spots that are tucked out of the way from the mall hordes.
Meet Branch Market & Studio, a quaint little shop in Black Diamond that brings handmade pieces from a variety of artisans and makers local to the area. Their goal, to be a branch in the communties and create connections, which for a province that is in economic hardship, I say more than ever we need to #shoplocal and #supportlocal.
So when I stopped by I was excited to see a collection of gifts and home decor that would be perfect for Christmas. Some of my favorites included:

On top of all cute gifts they have make nights which allows you to build and craft some cool rustic pieces. Coming up in December you can make this cute JOY sign or rustic Christmas centerpiece.
