Christmas DIY’s

I’m in a crafting type of mood this weekend. Maybe the extra day off has given me some spare time, but I’m in the mood to start decorating for the holidays. So far I have found a spot for a tree and put it up (my first artificial tree ever and I almost cringe at the thought but the lights look pretty). I have glitter painted mason jars silver and added epsom salt to add more glow to my Christmas candle holders. Now I am staring at the burlap I purchased thinking that a new wreath or a couple stockings are in order. Finally I’m off to the craft store to buy more glitter and some stamp ink, I have branches to spray that will be strategically placed in holders to give the dining room a bit more sparkle and later in the month want to make bag tags. Stay tuned for the final pictures.

I love that you’re glittering everything you can get your hands on! A little tip for the burlap: wash it first otherwise it’s kinda smelly, and not in a good way!

I’m glad someone is inspired right now. I’m stuck in “a dozen projects half done and no gumption to finish any of them” mode. I’ll get going tomorrow!

I started with the easy ones first so I felt like I was accomplishing something! The burlap is another issue!
