I love that I live in a city where the “country” seems right smack dab in the middle of it. One of my favourite places to rollerblade or bike by is The Ranche, in Fish Creek Park. Originally built over a 100 years ago by William Roper Hull, the beautiful venue is on the historic Cowboy Trail and combines the elegance of city architecture with country charm of a working ranch.
So when Aviatrix showed up to my garage sale in a sweet little lace and floral print Costa Blanc Dress– I knew ther perfect spot for a photo shoot. To go with the country feel of the dress she paired a cropped denim jacket from Old Navy, studded heels from Kenneth Cole and the trusty vintage Coach Stewardess Bag. One of my favourite features of the place is the old gas lantern roadway that lines the street in-front of the house and outbuildings.
