TGIF Everybody and even though I’m a day late, Happy Spring! The week was action packed and now I’m looking forward to some time with friends and relaxation! I’ve been working hard on some fun projects but I found some time here and there to snap pictures of some of my favourite things of the week.
I have a new morning ritual with my coffee, I use coconut milk to make what I call a Hawaiian Surprise. I mix warmed coconut milk with some Irish Cream flavouring (sugar-free) which I’m finding to be a very enjoyable way to start my day.
I was gifted this stunning Anthropologie clutch from my best friend. Perfect size for a night out and the colours are complimentary for a summer daytime outfit and I think it was love at first sight. Thank you again Jen!
When we are out in the backcountry, on an extended hunting trip, or heck even as a in case of emergency, Brandy’s getting “HANGRY” we pack Clif bars with us where ever we go. What I love about them is they are organic and free of trans fats, hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, artificial preservatives and flavouring. Which makes me happy that I’m using something very “clean” to fuel my body. Plus they have amazing flavours like Blueberry Crisp and Chocolate Peanut Butter. So when Clif Bar contacted me and ask if I wanted to try out their new flavour, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut I said yes faster than I could press SEND. They sent me the crunch granola bar and the Clif bar, which both were AMAZING. I almost felt guilty, like I was eating dessert mid morning, but the macadamia nut with white chocolate is my favourite Clif bar to-date so much so that when G2 asked if he could try one, I tried to convince him he probably wouldn’t like it very much so just save the testing to me 😉
In a word of e-mails, texts and instagram, I love the romantic notion of fancy stationary. So when Papyrus was kind enough to send me a very cute package of personalized cards I became enamoured with their endless possibilities, so much so it requires its own post. Having beautiful writing supplies at your fingertips feels indulgent to me and makes me want to send out all sorts of fun notes!
And lastly I love surprises but as my brother knows I’m just not that great at waiting for them. So this beautifully wrapped mystery has been patiently sitting waiting for the weekend. Until then, have a wonderful Friday!
