Spring Hit List

Coffee Time

Admittedly after completing the downhill and with February coming to a close I have had feelings of “what’s next” and a sense of searching for my new to-do list. So I decided what better motivator than to gather my thoughts and share my spring goals here with you on the blog! So some things I’d like to achieve this spring in no order of importance are:

  1. Finally finish off my office/studio (I know this project has dragged on longer than I’d like, but I just finishing off finding some final pieces).

Create a landscaping plan. The beauty of the yard at house in the woods is that it is simple, however I was to jazz it up a bit and enhance some of the features.

Continue my fitness journey. The idea of sliding down a hill in full piece spandex motivated me into the gym- let’s just say to celebrate completion I’ve been doing way more couch time in the last two weeks. SOOOO to keep motivated, I am going to find a fun swimsuit to motivate me for summer. Since it’s been a full year, I’m allowed to let my scar see the daylight- the concern before was that too much UV would cause more damage, so I literally hid under a tent at the beach last year. But this year, hopefully with some sweat equity and lots of 60 SPF I can see my way back into a two piece.

Turkey Hunt, episode 2 is going to happen this spring. This time, I’m challenging myself to do it on my own and get set up with the appropriate gear and not rely on others to do it for me. I’ve been target practicing in the back yard with all this warm weather, so hopefully the results will be better this time!

  • Explore my own backyard. I’ve been itching to go travel this spring and summer. But with the price of the dollar and the state of the economy, I want to support local and stick to areas in Canada. I’ve been researching on Hello BC and Travel Alberta and didn’t realize just how many cool places we have to explore right outside our backdoor.

So that’s my list and I hope you all hold me accountable! What are some of the things you want to accomplish this spring?
