Last week Aviatrix indulged with her new perspective on Cancun and today she mentions one of her favourite haunts, on the NW coast of Mexico.
“My husband and I are very lucky because we have family in San Jose del Cabo, so every year we have the chance to chill with everyone in a paradise filled location. San Jose del Cabo is located on the Baja Peninsula, with beautiful beaches great for surfing (we took lessons 2 years ago…it was so much fun) and is also great for whale watching and fishing. I am by no means a fisherman, by any stretch. This was my first trip out since I was a little girl with my Dad and I was excited to see some whales, but little did I know I would love the fishing as much as I did. We caught about 10 fish keeping 7, I think the part that was so exciting was the electricity that runs through your veins when you get your first bite, then keeping calm enough to reel the fish in without losing it. I am excited to go back again this winter and try again, maybe with slightly more technique and know how though.”
