Happy Valentine’s Day! With all the temptation of heart-shaped chocolates out there this week, I’ve been trying really hard to avoid having any in the house for when those 8 pm cravings kick in. However last night, I found I couldn’t help myself and I decided to make these bite size beauties. These are so easy to make and you don’t need the heart-shape mold, but can find one at Ikea if you like 🙂 I used dark Bakers chocolate, but you can use any type you like, there’s no chocolate discrimination in my house. Simply melt your chocolate, distribute in the mold to about 1/2 full and sprinkle on some other antioxidants like unsalted pepita’s (pumpkin seeds), dried cherries, blueberries and cranberries and a dash of sea salt. Pop in the fridge to cool and break them out next time you’re needing some chocolate love, which in my case was with my morning coffee 😉
