I grew up in the sunny Okanagan, a valley known for fruit orchards, vineyards, warm weather and numerous lakes. Not such a shabby place for a kid to grow up, however I got a fair dose of reality moving to the prairies as an adult.
However I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a unique summer escape. It’s the Napa Valley of the North and the wine tastings alone could keep you busy for a week.
