Well we are officially only six more Monday’s from Christmas today! Who else is filled with thoughts of shopping, wrapping, decorating, baking… the list goes on. Not to mention finding outfits for those events and get togethers. So this week I thought I’d share some of my picks this year for holiday style. First of all I think a leather legging is a must have for the holidays, you can dress it up and down and there is just something that puts you in a confident and sexy frame of mind once you slide into a pair. I always joke that these are my Beyonce pants. My favorite pair are from Aritzia, because they are high waisted and uber soft. It’s like a combo of shape wear and legging in one. I convinced another lady in the change room to try a pair on as she confessed she was a new mom trying to get out of her “style rut”, she swore up and down that wasn’t her and she could never pull off leather leggings. She couldn’t believe that they were so comfy and that she looked “hot” and promptly left with a pair. So yes, I say these can go casual as well, just be selective in mixing with the right top, like an over sized sweater, a cute plaid or denim. Add a kitten heel or a flat boot to balance it out.
