One of my favourite parts of Christmas gift buying is the stockings stuffers. Our family stockings usually include the typical socks, underwear and toothpaste routine but I always like to find everyone a little surprise indulgence that they typically wouldn’t buy themselves any other time of the year.

What outdoors girl doesn’t need a headlamp? I tend to use mine more than I care to admit and tend to lose them just as frequently. It’s great to throw in your pack or car for emergency use as well. I find them better than a flashlight because if you need both hands to get into your treestand, a flashlight’s not gonna cut it.

One thing I still need to have when I’m out camping is a morning coffee. Restoration Hardware has so many fun stocking stuffers but when I saw this mini expresso maker I almost died. Say goodbye to crappy campfire coffee. I mean your not going to take this backpacking with you, but the promise of a decent brew could be waiting for you at basecamp…

I love getting fancy spices or little cooking gadgets that I would never buy myself. There are so many fun spice sets or kitchen widgets that would make a fun addition to any cooks stocking.

Hate travelling or being out somewhere and your phone is about to die? I think these backup phone batteries from J.Crew are a handy gift to give, plus they come in so many fun prints and colors to accessorize your phone with.

One product I tried this year and recommend to anyone is Lather & Lace’s turnback time skincare line. One of the best things I found was the toning mist. Use it summer or winter, at the start or end of your day and it gives your skin the pickup it needs. I found myself carrying this in my purse and using it throughout the day.
