It finally turned into winter this weekend. With temperature around -20, I decided to hunker down and do some chores and cleaning one morning. With the anticipation of the holiday season and a pending cookie exchange, I now realize I may have went a little Shopaholic on the baking supplies.
Looking at my cupboards I knew I needed to bake something to clear out my pantry. I found this recipe from The Curvy Carrot for Cherry Chocolate Kisses and decided Valentines Day couldn’t wait. I think these would be great for a bake sale or even an everyday treat. The shortbread combine with the cherry and chocolate kiss in my opinion is the perfect mix and easy to make. And with the cherry red colouring they look so pretty and almost spring like! I’m definitely adding this one to my roster.
Brandy – I would like one with my coffee please! how is it, you made yummies to eat, and I made marmalade for our faces? 🙂
If I keep this up Lori, you may need to make some magic cellulite cream for my thighs!
They look so yummy. Save me one:)
I took them all into the office! They must have really hated them because they were gone by 10 am 🙂
Mmmm I love chocolate covered cherries! You can never have enough!
It’s true, cherries make everything better 🙂
