Every hardy Canadian knows that cold weather is part and parcel of life on the prairies. And when I say cold I’m talking anything south of -25 Celsius or -13 Farenheit for my southern friends. Exposed skin freezes in less than 3 minutes and getting dressed to grab a morning coffee becomes a procedure.
Thankfully snowboots have come a long way in the style department but the one thing that really gets to me is the dryness. Chapped lips, sandpaper hands and static filled hair. Not only does your wardrobe need to bulk up but so does your skin care regiment. So as I sit here huddled close to the heater in my office with my favourite candy cane tea, I’d like to share some of my cold weather essentials becasue it looks like it’s going to be a long winter…
- J.Crew Cashmere Infinity Scarf
- Joe Fresh Knit Pompom Hat
- Barney’s Fur Mitts
- Sorel Slimpack Riding Boot
-
Candy Cane Lane Decaf Tea
-
Living Proof Flexible Hairspray
- Nib + Fab Dry Skin Fix Body Butter
- L’occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
- H&M Animal Motif Mug
Great choices, I already feel like I need to buy hand cream & lotion in bulk! This weather is wrecking havoc on my skin.
