Ever since the holidays my mind has been blocked, creativity was at an all time low and I couldn’t put together a sentence let alone dress myself… So I tried everything, burnt up my mouse on Pinterest, read poetry, even contemplated (god forbid) a DIY. And you know what happened- BIG FAT NOTHING. Then I started cleaning, attempting to organize my house and maybe my mental clutter? I stumbled across my hat box and one of my favourites, a wool beret I picked up from Simons in Quebec. Looking at my collection, suddenly I was hit with a wave of options for new outfits right from my very closet! So I could check the box on meeting one of my resolutions to mix up my wardrobe and save some money at the same time. Also my beret inspired this outfit which meets another fashion resolution, less neutrals and more colour. I love the red, ox-blood and pink combo with an Aztec bag for a pop of pattern. Now that my brain-block is over I can’t wait to show off more of my re-mixes!
