Date Night Sparkle

I’ll admit lately for date night I’ve been heavily favouring my cashmere sweatpants to a sleek frock. It’s not that I don’t want to make the effort but my excuses range from busy schedules to I need to shave my legs…

I realize this may be a slippery slope and that action should be taken to renew some balance before Stacey and Clinton from “What not to Wear” hijack me in a black van as I’m on my way from Safeway with sweatpants tucked into oversized Uggs, my barn jacket and camo baseball cap on. G2 actually turned and looked at me when in the grocery store, as if he hadn’t seen me yet that day (we drove to the store together) and said, “what are you wearing?!”

A friend at work looked at my cute leopard print D&G flats and said, “you obviously dress for girls” and I guess I do, being that you rarely get a compliment on clothing from men? However if I’m going to mix it up every once in a while I guess I would pick this following outfit, its sexy and soft (with the cashmere wrap I can pretend I still have my sweats with me!) and maybe fiend off Stacey and Clinton’s thugs.
