For once I feel like I’m finally getting organized with the store well before the season has arrived. Admittedly deciding to start a storefront right before the fall and winter season left me on a huge learning curve and feeling like I was always two steps behind. Having more time for spring, I feel that the items that are coming in are truly handpicked after going through dozens of sites, lookbooks and samples. For the holiday lookbook I was inspired by versatile knits, sequins, vintage lace, rustic leathers and gemstones. This spring my inspiration was desert blooms. Finding pieces with colour and pattern to mimic the resurgence of colour and life to the landscape, because I for one am excited for warm weather so I can bust out some of this fun fashion.
And since we have a carefully handpicked method of buying, we are releasing new items on the website as we go instead of waiting for a lookbook. The spring/summer lookbook will come, but we had lots of Canadian snowbirds wanting to enjoy the pieces on a warm weather vacation this winter. Other fun things will be adding to the store is a rewards program. Any customer will recieve and build C&C points that they can redeem on their next purchase! Also Albertan’s that have been asking about brick and mortor stores, we are planning a pop-up shop this summer and some fun activities so make sure you sign up to be a community member on the home page so we can keep you posted when that’s happening! Thanks so much for the support to C&C and your paitence and understanding while we grow and learn 🙂
whoo hoo!
