Mother’s Day is just around the corner on May 10th and what better way to show mom you care by crafting something up on your own. If you’re a non DIY’er like myself, the key is to think simple and not take on too big of a project and something that might be a small luxury that she wouldn’t necessarily treat herself to. As I try to sort through the numerous projects I’ve seen online (there are so many crafty peeps out there), some of the ideas I’m loving for a DIY mother’s day gift:
Personalized Gift Jar; pack a beautiful glass jar with all of mom’s small favorites from cosmetics to sweets and she still has the jar as a keepsake for the house. Via QuirkyInspired
Summer is coming and along with that is outdoor living and entertaining. Make mom some citronella and eucalyptus candles. Put them in a fun container that matches her decor and style for a non-toxic gift. Via Free People
Who wouldn’t love these cute succulents in a painted mason jar? Try these DIY mason jar succulent pots via Lolly Jane. I know using chalk paint is super simple and think mom would love the vintage vibe for spring.
Make a yummy lemon sugar scrub for guilt-free pampering. Perfect to get skin summer-time ready, via I Heart Naptime.
