One observation about living in Canada especially after such a long winter and a late spring, every nice day is not to be taken for granted. The last few weeks, almost coinciding with the emerging leaves and blossoms- my fellow Calgarians are taking to the outdoors with an unbridled enthusiasm. Maybe it’s the long months trapped indoors and pedestrian walkways but at the first sight of a 20 degree day, the paths and patios are a buzz. It’s brought life and colour back to the community, I just wish this thing we call summer wasn’t such a brief interlude up here.
And so to meet the festive vibes, I’m trying to pack in as many cute outfits as possible when the weather will allow. The funny thing is, in Australia- this outfit would be suitable if the temp didn’t dip below 30, but nope in Canada- 20 degrees warrants off the shoulder and no jacket- turn on the patio heaters if you must- these shoulders are staying bare to show off this embroidered dress!
