While watching a wedding video at a 50th Wedding Anniversary the other weekend, all anyone could comment on was the fashion, soft, feminine and romantic-a time when people still dressed in their Sunday best and men wore hats. The dresses, hats and gloves… everyone’s outfit was to the nine’s. I happen to love this fashion era but for the tomboy/contemporarian in me it seems like an awful lot of work and maintenance.
When I found this print dress at Joe Fresh I was completely enamoured, the color and print seemed so romantic and demure at the same time. I have already worn it to the office and think it would be great to wear to a shower or a wedding. I paired it with some Nine West nude peep toes and my ever favourite ornate necklace from Banana Republic. Now I just have to go back for that long woven clutch I had my eye on…
