It started with G2 not feeling well on Saturday and both of us having full-blown flu symptoms on Tuesday. Cordoned off to the house, no office wanting to see us, we were left to our own devices and one of mine is Netflix… Let me start by saying I hate movies about zombies, vampires, werewolves ect (sorry to all the Twilight fans- it’s just not my dish). But bored to tears with a dwindling selection on Netflix I reluctantly turned on The Walking Dead. Intrigued with the apocalyptic story I got sucked in. Looking at my fever, chills/sweats, cough, generally drooling and horrid appearance maybe I was turning into a walker? And our house definitely had an end of the world appearance, littered with kleenex, unwashed laundry and no I haven’t taken my Christmas ornaments down yet…. Ok maybe NOT that extreme, but it’s kept me entertained and I hate to admit is one of my favourite shows at the moment. (And to my brother, no I don’t want to know what happens in Season 3).
Another favourite for the week is pairing a great cable neck sweater with plaid and faux shearing with some studded biker boots. It’s my chic “sick” look.
With my head in a fog, I’ve been completely boring and uninspired, it’s kinda hard to do an outfit post if you don’t change out of your pajamas, at this point they’ll be cutting them off of me. However I’m on the mend so with that comes more blogging and less zombies, until then have a great weekend!
OK, I’m always looking for series to start on Netflix. As soon as I finish Masterpiece Theater’s Downton Abbey I’ll check this one out! Looks like if I can get thru it this month, the next season starts in Feb 2013…cool! Be well! LOVE those boots
