Last weekend I was showing snippets of my mini yard makeover (quite literally it’s the size of a postage stamp!) on Instagram and Twitter. Progress was slowed with impending snowfall warnings and chores BUT we are getting closer to a finished product and hopefully I can unveil it soon. In fact I’m enjoying sitting out as I type this post with the help of my toasty little patio heater 🙂
I’ve also be baching it for the last week as G2 is out of town, this means I get to listen to Florence and the Machines and pretend I’m on American Idol in my kitchen as loud as I want at any point in the day and maybe indulge on a peanut butter s’more or two, heck I even had a cinnamon bun for dinner (I’ll eat my veggies tomorrow, PROMISE). Throw on a girly flick and I’ve got me some good living. But truth be told I’m looking forward to him getting back so we can have a peanut butter s’more together.
Tuesday my admin came in carrying an L.L. Bean box, quizzically looking at me as if to say, “What Now?” My bison bean boots (say that 3 times fast) had arrived!! I love the brick red sole and the classic look, but these are beyond comfortable! I’m field testing them this weekend so standby for the rest of the review, but so far I’m giving them an A+.
Lastly I’ve been on the search for a belt for this fantastic buckle from Pinkertons Western Collection, it’s turquoise love that’s the size of a dinner plate and all around FABULOUSNESS that I can’t wait to wear out!
