From City to Country - Cashmere & Camo

Well folks it’s official, C&C has gone from city to country! After countless ~~hours~~ (years) of searching real estate listings, I finally found a little house in the woods to fix up. As exciting as moving to a new place can be, it’s also very stressful and filled with learning’s or reminders of what it’s like to be back in the country. The city girl in me forgot that garbage pickup and speedy WiFi connections are not first and foremost if you are moving out to the woods. The deer in my yard and mountain views make up for some of the conveniences I’d become accustomed to. And though it’s only been over a week since moving, in hindsight I probably wouldn’t recommend packing in a move, starting reno’s and getting a new puppy all in the same week, but we’re getting through it, adjusting and loving the slower pace. I’m excited to show some of the amazing progress that we’ve already made to the house and to introduce you to the newest C&C member, meet Gunnar! He’s a 10 week old Toy Australian Shepard x Border Collie. He’s already proven to be a great trail dog and has boundless enthusiasm and energy for anything chewable, not excluding my favorite ankle boots. I have a feeling he will be assisting/posing for many future posts 🙂
