This weekend’s erratic weather called for a versatile outfit. A day of flurries quickly changed to a sunny day where we were able to get out and run errands, clean-up the yard and shoot some gophers and a paper-thin peach sweatshirt with rain boots was the perfect combo. I also managed to get my herb garden planted and started indoors so it’s well on its way by the time warmer weather comes around. This year I’ve gone with rosemary, arugula, thyme, chives and lavender. And it seems our urban wildlife is back! We’ve got the robins building a new nest in the back of the house and some mallards claiming the front yard as their own so stay tuned for robin-watch 2014 on instagram.
