Plaid Shirt Dress | Over the Knee Boots | Felt Hat (From Mint +Maple) | Bandana (old)
Sometimes I can get obsessed over a certain fashion item or accessory until it becomes the ultimate quest to find the “perfect” one. Case in point with Over the Knee boots, I have been on the hunt for over two years for the perfect suede, taupe coloured boots with “just the right” heel. Oh and if it finally met all the criteria, it had to fit over my muscular calves, which many do not. Soooo when I found these beauties, I literally made new girlfriends in the shoe section, obsessing over whether these were “the ones”. To cute red booties and black pumps (my new friends names, because I forgot to ask for their real ones)- THANK YOU, taupe OTK and I are living happily ever after now. They also give the illusion of longer and leaner legs, as my barre classes have not kicked in as of yet, lol….
So for my first foray out, I decided to pair with a distressed plaid shirtdress from Cody & Sioux and my new bandana obsession. Overall a bit of a Mad Hatter look, but maybe appropriate with Halloween this week? Which reminds me, I have to figure out a costume for the annual pumpkin carving, if anyone has any good last minute ideas, please let me know!
