As you can see by the grin on my face, the minute the waitress brought out a slice of their infamous pecan pie at Magnolias, in Charleston I was in heaven. The diner’s behind me look to be in awe of our peach crisp and pecan pie perfection. The menu describes it all, southern pecan pie, bourbon caramel sauce with vanilla bean ice cream. And since the folks at Magnolias are so hospitable, they even have a cookbook that shares the recipe!
