“My NYC saga continues and my love for the city continues to grow as I figure out the ins and outs of the place. Now that I have accomplished Time Square as a tourist, I have graduated to the more authentic New York and ventured into Greenwich, the West Village and the Meat Packing district. Night one I was lead to a Comedy Club/Restaurant called the Olive Branch Cafe, the comedy show was sold out but we stayed for dinner, the food was cheap and was also very tasty. With hot and cold sandwiches, paninis, wraps, it is probably better suited for the day, however it was a good start. Then on to Duplex a fantastic gay piano karaoke bar. Now this is not your typical karaoke, these people have killer talent! We stopped for drinks at The Slaughter Lamb (beware of the dugon, they claim the owner locked people in to die). Night two we continued with the underworld theme and ate at Diablo Royal a hip Mexican place with great food (although pricey). My highlight moment of the night was when taking photos a fire truck with New York’s finest flew by and I was able to get a shot as they drove by… I’m in lust!”
