Mother’s Day is just around the bend on May 8th and if you’re like me trying to find something new or unique each year other than getting flowers or gift card can be difficult. What about getting mom outside to play this year? I came up with my gift list for those that like to get out or would like to venture out camping or hiking with the family this summer. And I promise the list although practical does not compromise on cuteness.
- 1. Platypus Daypack with water bladder– Any day trip out adventuring needs a backpack. I have one of these packs and swear by it for hiking, biking or just travel in general. The hydration packs is super convenient, especially because you don’t have to stop to dig out your water every time, and there is enough room for extra clothes, camera or snacks. This one also comes in 4 fun colors!
2. Camera– I think a camera is always a good gift idea if that person loves to capture moments. I love this Canon G1X because it’s a great travel size and shoots outstanding quality of photos and film relative with that of a DSLR. If mom wants to learn more about photography this is a great camera to grow into as well.
3. Camping Gear- Planning some summer trips with the family? This Comfort-Cloud 40 Sleeping Bag has memory foam lining the bottom of the bag, extra insulation and ultra soft fleece, plus the color gets bonus points 🙂 It’s the extra creature comforts that make heading outdoors even more enjoyable.
4 & 5- Cute Rain Gear– I know I just posted about the Kirkwall Rain Jacket and these floral rainboots, but I feel it’s one of those splurge items that most people just can’t justify buying themselves and makes for a great gift. Plus if you’re going to make sure you’re comfy and dry when you head out, why not make it cute as well!
6. GPS Watch- If she loves getting outside and tracking her activity and still wants to look stylish, this Garmin Fenix Sapphire GPS does it all year round as it’s not just for summer activities, there is also an alpine ski and snowboard mode, along with tracking all daily activities including sleep, which I’m not really sure mom’s ever get to do?…
