Sweater weather definitely makes me want to stock pile the warm and cozies and my love for a Pendleton print is unwavering year after year. This year is particularly special as it is the 100 year anniversary of the National Parks blankets, with the first Glacier Park blanket coming off the loom in 1916! I happen to be wearing the 100 year anniversary blanket above (what, you mean you don’t wear yours in the woods with mukluks?). So with the celebration of the centennial, Pendleton has partnered with a few different brands to bring some unique, limited edition looks this fall.
Just when I thought I couldn’t love the Adirondack boots anymore, they go and do this! I’m also in love with the plush Alena Mocs.
Gap and Pendleton come together to create the classics with their denim and plaid. I for one scooped up a pair of the distressed jeans complete with plaid inlay that I can’t wait to rock this fall and winter. This collab is the perfect mix for comfy, casual wear this season and they have the cutest kids pieces!
I love my Eddie Bauer Skyliner Jacket. Since 1936 they have been making the Skyliner and to celebrate the centennial they have made reversible jackets with patterns from each park. One side is quilted down and the other is the traditional Pendleton wool. Also 5% of sales from each jacket goes to the National Park Service!
All these pieces are making me think about snow and getting outdoors. What’s your favourite Pendleton pattern or park?
