Many days when I’m on the go, I just need a little pick me up to get me through a long morning of meetings, or rushing from the office to home and then back out for evening activities. Trying to limit bad choices I’ve started making these no bake peanut butter balls. Well I know that peanut butter and chocolate chips may not constitute good choices, but at least pretty much this entire recipe is made with whole ingredients and without any preservatives or unknown additives. The best part- they taste like a cookie so it’s always like having a little cheat whenever I grab one of these, because where can you go wrong with something that tastes like a cookie?
An action packed no bake peanut butter ball that is a great whole food snack. Its an easy recipe that combines, healthy fats, carbs, protein and fiber and the nice thing is it can be adjusted based on your dietary needs. Oats can be supplemented with gluten free oats, peanut butter with other nut butters. Using the base of typically no bake balls, these use maple syrup and some chile powder for a kick!
