Yesterday we attended/helped out at the Rocky Mountain Progressive Shootout, a team penning event hosted by two of my cousins, Chris and Amy. The day was beautiful but blazing hot by the afternoon so the horses were tired and the beer cold. I also encountered a very cool wine cork pull, called the “Bull Pull”. Now I just have to find where I can get my hands on one! Before I set off yesterday I asked the C&C question of the day, “What’s your simplest pleasure?” The majority answered Family and Friends, which is exactly what the day turned out to be for me. Kids, dogs, horses and a BBQ- perfect way to spend a Saturday.
