By the time you’re reading this post I’ve planned to be well ahead of the morning commuters, coffee in hand as I drive through the mountains to join my mom on a mini-vacay. Since things have been a little hectic here, I’ve been taking to the skies to commute to shave off time. When I told people I was driving this one, they all met me with the same quizzical expression. Honestly driving has become a bit of a luxury, when I’m on the highway I get to think, get to belt out tone-deaf renditions of Bob Seger and feel like I’m seeing a bit of the world. And since my partner in crime will be on a muskox hunt in the North West Territories, I need a vehicle to lug back all my wine and shopping from my girl time.
