Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian Family and Friends! Reflecting on life and what I’m most thankful for today, I have immense gratitude for so many things. My health, love, my relationships and all the support that allows me to get up and do what I do every morning. So, Thank You!
I wanted to share some of the photos from my recent trip to Palm Springs. One place on my bucket list was to visit Pioneer Town. Built in 1946 as an old Western Set from the 1880’s, I could picture a dusty gun slinging scene as we pulled up to park. Only 45 minutes from downtown Palm Springs, I highly recommend the trip if you are in the area, not only is it very photogenic, there are lots of little shops to check out along the way and highly advise a stop to Pappy and Harriet’s for some food and live music.
First off, the outfit. I wanted this to be more of a creative shoot and then ended up finding these fun corduroy overalls that I very much plan on transitioning into our colder climate. Add some fringe and turquoise for good measure for my take on modern saloon style. Even though I’m back watching the snow fall outside my office window today, I’m going to get to dust off that Saloon Style in support of Rethink Breast Cancer and their Boobyball in Calgary later this month at a Wild West themed party! It’s a great cause that redefines breast cancer awareness and brings support to younger women who are equally effected by breast cancer. I for one can’t wait to see the fashion, so head over and grab a ticket here! Can’t wait to see you there!
