What happened to that pesky groundhog last week? I heard mention that there was ” No Shadow”, hence spring to follow in 6 weeks…. Yet I glance out of the the house to the frozen snow covered landscape and crave an end. Obviously my beach theme and drinking wine isn’t helping so today I turn to bright colours, bugs and flowers. I happen to love Anthropologie from the clothes to the household items, they definitely have a classic antiqueness that I appreciate. To add to my Spring Fever I purchased the Fleur-De-Lys Tumblers and Water Pitcher, which I have been using as a vase. Ideally I’d like to showcase peonies or wildflowers in it, but they’re hard to come by this time of year. I also went colour crazy and purchased a robin-egg blue farmer’s egg crate and the L’Epice Jars.
I also found a great mouse/note pad cleverly decorated with different beetles and a B- perfect addition for my office. Other things I’ve looked to for inspiration and hope that Spring is around the corner- my orchids, delicately flowered shirts and brightly coloured books to scatter around the house. Just to think we only have about 2 to 3 months of winter left!
