Spring Fling

With the snow slowly coming off the mountains with spring melt, I thought a little fly fishing would be a perfect way to spend the weekend before the rivers get too cloudy. Even with the chill in the air the weather was spectacular when the sun came out and with our handy little jet boat I managed to catch my first Bull Trout on a fly which was non too shabby at around 12 lbs. Although I felt like I was doing more “flinging” than casting,  I think this is a good sign of a successful fishing season ahead!
