Spring? I’m searching for a Spring, has anyone seen it yet? For my brother and SIL that continue to torture me with tales of dresses and shorts from their home in Houston, we are hunkering down for another snowstorm later this week. Seriously, Winter I’m over you, please move on…
So in the much-anticipated arrival of something green, I have been feverishly dreaming, pinning and polyvoring in colour, Bright, Bold Colour. One of the readers gave me a fantastic idea, she told me she is starting to collect cowboy boots. What a fantastically brilliant idea!!! I’d like to thank her for giving me a reason to justify my addiction and I am keeping her name quiet (the C&C fashion protection program) as G2 will now be searching her out now.
Dreams come to reality as Lane Boots is hitting it out of the park in their collaboration with Double D Ranchwear and Old Gringo is in a close second for me. The colours, textures and designs all scream “Summer I’m here to play”. You can’t cover these boots up with jeans, it would do them a total disservice. So that’s why I’m suggesting dresses or skinny jeans tucked in. So those who are lucky to enjoy some blossoms and green grass, for the sake of all the snowed in Canadians please wear some bright boots!
I love love love the last 3 outfits… and although I suppose my solitary pair of brown cowboys boots would work with any of them, I suddenly wish I had a second more colourful pair!
