A Sequin Harvest

Blame it on my inner magpie, but as the holiday season is fast approaching I find myself gravitating towards the glitz and glam of sequin incorporated outfits. Last year I dipped my big toe in the glitterati pool with a sequinned tank top, this year I found myself buying an “in your face” dress that’s dripping with gold sequins. So where do you fit on this scale of sparkle and shine?  Maybe all you need is a little glitter or you want to rival the christmas decorations in the room. This winter, I think any amount of sequin sparkle adds a healthy dose of fun to your holiday outfit.

That gorgeous, in our face dress, dress you bought (the one I bought too LOL) might require a test run as I’m finding the sequins are sticking together causing the dress to bunch 🙁 . Did you find that too???

I’ve noticed the same thing too 🙁 Can’t say I’m all that happy about it and I’m struggling to find shoes for it as well… Any suggestions would help! Does this count as a reader request??

LOL! Like you need help with this stuff! But check out Western Galmour’s current issue. Danielle paired a gold sequin dress with deep cobalt blue suede platform pumps and accessories! It’s an insanely pretty combo. As for me, I’m a little more old school so I’ll be wearing it with nude patent pointy toed pumps, bare legs (hopefully spray tanned), and gold on gold on gold accessories when I’m in Vegas.
