We decided to stay put in the city for the long weekend after hearing warnings of doom & gloom with massive rainfall for the entire area, so I think this is the first time I have ever worn heels on a long weekend. It was amazing to me how eerily quiet the urban jungle becomes on the Friday afternoon after the masses leave, but found it quite enjoyable. Something else I’ve been quite enjoying are these new skinny The Castings jeans from Aritiza. The denim feels like butter and unlike some of my other jeans that stretch out after a couple wears- these have run the paces all over town for various wears and still fit like new. Another favourite item of mine at the moment is a camo tee from Denim & Supply (which is currently on sale at Hudson’s Bay). And speaking of Hudson’s Bay, I was recently at a Topshop x Kate Moss collab event and got to hear about some of the events and new plans they have for the summer. I for one have been quite impressed with the refresh of the Hudson’s Bay Company, so stay tuned Cowtown, there are some cool things coming this summer!
