Dusting off the winter cobwebs and freshening up the house for Easter is an annual ritual I enjoy. However depending on the year and the weather, introducing spring bulbs into and around the home may not be successful. So one thing I always like to do to celebrate Easter and spring is a centerpiece for the table. Regardless of the weather, colorful flowers always seem to brighten things up.
Luckily for me I had this rustic wood table planter from a Christmas workshop I had attended at Branch Market and Studio and decided to refresh it for spring. If you can’t find a wood planter like this, you could DIY one with this Barn wood Tutorial.
Because of the size of mine, I decided to use faux filler flowers from Micheals, they come complete in a rustic looking can painted copper and wrapped in burlap. Then for the remainder I consulted Sunny Barrett from Always Sunny Design and picked this spring like mix. I layered the floral heights to give a bit more dimensions and added twigs and robin eggs to complete the Easter centerpiece. Overall I love the look and the smell the fresh flowers bring to the house and the best part is, I can keep refreshing this planter box for each season for a new look and feel.
very pretty, love the pots and the eggs just add that spring feeling.
Thank you! I just love how the planter box and flowers instantly give off a rustic romantic vibe, even with the bright flowers and robin’s eggs.
